A little about me, and why I care so deeply about this work.

Welcome, I'm Sarah,

This work changed my life, and if you're here, I believe it can change yours too.

For over twenty years I've worked in health and wellbeing, but I didn't come to this work as someone who had all the answers. I came to it as someone searching for them.

Like many of the people I support today, I spent years trying to understand why I felt the way I did. I experienced chronic anxiety, physical symptoms, and burnout on more than one occasion. I knew what it was like to keep showing up, keep trying, keep learning, and yet still feel as though something underneath wasn't shifting.

Everything began to change when I discovered nervous system work. Not because my life suddenly became perfect, but because for the first time I stopped seeing my body as something that was working against me and began to understand that it had been trying to protect me all along. What followed wasn't simply a reduction in symptoms. It was a completely different relationship with myself, a deeper connection with the people I love, and a level of peace and contentment that I genuinely never thought was possible.

Today, I live in the countryside with my husband Dave and our two wonderful boys. Some of my happiest moments are the simplest ones: long walks in nature, noticing the changing seasons, and collecting what we call glimmers in this work – those small moments of safety, beauty and connection that remind us we are truly here.

A few years ago, after moving through some incredibly challenging seasons, I made a promise to myself that I would spend the rest of my life joy hunting. Not because life had suddenly become easy, but because this work had changed the way I experienced it. Nervous system healing helped me find a sense of safety and trust within myself that I never knew was possible, and it opened my eyes to the beauty, connection and joy that had been there all along.

More than anything, what I want you to know is that I care deeply about the people I work with.

It is never lost on me what an act of courage it is to reach out for support. To allow someone to witness the parts of you that feel frightened, exhausted, overwhelmed or stuck. Every person who enters my world brings extraordinary bravery, and I feel genuinely honoured each time somebody trusts me to walk alongside them.

One of the greatest privileges of my life is witnessing what happens when people begin to soften out of survival mode. When they stop fighting themselves. When they start understanding their bodies with compassion. When they discover that healing doesn't come from pushing harder, but from creating enough safety for change to unfold naturally.

Whether you're here because of anxiety, stress, burnout, physical symptoms, grief, overwhelm, or simply a feeling that life is meant to feel different than it does right now, I want you to know that there is a way forward.

You do not need to force it.
